Maqui Berry Helps Boost Metabolism

The Maqui Berry is a powerful fruit from Chile located around the Patagonia region. This oddly named berry is being dubbed as the worlds most powerful berry because it contains a ton of antioxidants. It contains about 2500 antioxidant strength per gram of the powder.

Currently, the most popular berry in the world is the Acai. The Acai is found primarily in Brazil. The Acai went from being known by very few to the entire world when Oprah did a show about it.

After Oprah hyped up the Acai berry, hundreds of products with it came out. You can find juice, pills, capsules, and many more products containing the Acai berry. You can even find it at your local super markets and stores now.

Acai became incredibly popular after the Oprah show mentioned it mainly because it had an extraordinary amount of antioxidant properties in it. This is also the same reason why the Maqui berry will soon become the world’s most popular berry in a few months.

The Acai and the Maqui berry are currently the two strongest berries discovered so far in the world, however they are far from similar. The Maqui berry beats the acai berry in comparison by everything except one tiny factor.

The Maqui berry is only missing one thing when it is compared to Acai. The Acai contains the Omega 3 fatty acid which can be good for your health. However, since the Maqui berry contains so many more antioxidants it truly isn’t even an honest fight.

The Maqui Berry will soon be a word you will be hearing a lot every day. The reason is because it is widely available and it is very cheap to grow. The final reason is because it is so incredibly powerful to your health that nothing compares to it.

If you are quick on your feet, you can beat the crowd to owning your own maqui berry supplement. Since the Acai is more popular right now, you can grab the maqui berry products really cheap. Act fast and enjoy the maqui berry diet long before the crowd does!

Eating More, Weighing Less

Losing weight while eating more? Now that just doesn’t make sense , does it? It’s such a difficult concept to imagine, and it goes against all we have been taught.

Well, its not such a crazy concept and when you understand how the body assimilates food you will have a better understanding of how it works.

There are a lot of misunderstandings about how to lose weight effectively, and about how we put it on in the first place. And why it stays on.

Now if you were to do a survey, only a small proportion of the population would believe that to lose weight, you must eat more! Naturally, it’s not just any food – the diet is pretty specific. Nevertheless, they just don’t believe it.

Likewise, only a small minority would believe that it is possible to change your body in 11 days – shedding 9 pounds of fat. It would seem very difficult to achieve this kind of result.

However, it’s not pie-in-the-sky – these numbers have been achieved (and are being achieved over and over). This system has been tried and tested, and these numbers are typical results.

Simply put, its based around the concept that when we eat, our brains produce 2 types of hormones – one type which burns fat and the other type which stores fat.

The levels of these 2 hormone types can be controlled, so that extra fat-burning hormones can be produced, and the production of the fat-storage type can be reduced, by eating specific foods.

So it goes without saying, that these hormones (or the control of them) is critical in the quest to lose weight. By eating certain foods, you can get this control.

To achieve success with the system, it is necessary to eat more than 3 times a day, and keep to the correct pattern. This is what makes it work.

This is a very impressive dieting system, and the speed at which it works is probably the most notable thing about it. It proves that dieting need not be a long, painful process.

Are There Heart Benefits From Fish Oil Supplements?

I’ve talked before about many of the health benefits of fish oil supplements. Theres a range of health benifits of fish oil, amongst them to your heart. Lets have a look at Omega 3 and cholesterol today.

The results of a new study into the heart benefits of fish oil have been published in the Jan/Feb issue of Sports Health, A Multidisciplinary Approach.

This particular study studied the heart benefits of fish oil supplements and it looked at the benefits to the heart of fish oil supplements high in DHA and EPA, the two major Omega 3 fats.

These football players took either fish oil capsules or a placebo, the fish oil capsules containing 2560 mg of omega-3 fatty acids (650 mg EPA and 450 mg DHA in each capsule.) 36 players took part.

The results of the study backed up many other studies that demonstrate the benefits of essential fatty acid supplements in the form of omega 3 or fish oil supplements.

The football players had an improvement in their HDL levels (their good cholesterol) and a reduction in their LDL levels (their bad cholesterol).

And triglycerides went down too, an excellent result.

And this isn’t the first time a study has found that there are significant heart benefits to taking fish oil supplements. There are now many studies backing up the health benefits of fish oil supplementation.

In fact the American Heart Association now recommends the intake of EPA and DHA (the two major beneficial Omega 3 fats) daily, at a dose of 1 gram a day, more for those with elevated triglycerides.

So now you know. There are significant benefits to your heart health from taking Omega 3 fish oil capsules, so you ought to be making sure you’re doing so. How? By taking the very best Omega 3 fish oil capsules.

Be aware that not all Omega 3 supplements are created equal. There are issues with both the quantity of DHA in each capsule as well as the purity of the fish oil, some fish oils being contaminated with heavy metals and PCBs and mercury. These are only small amounts but the best fish oil capsules contain higher levels of DHA than most others and undetectable levels of contaminants.

So if youre at risk of heart health problems, and who isnt, there are now significant fish oil supplements studies backing up the benefits daily fatty acid supplements. Make sure you get enough fish oils in your diet, every day.

Review Of Sanyo SR-1000 Massage Chair

The following is a product review and evaluation of the Sanyo HEC-SR1000K massage chair recliner. This is the entry level massage chair model for Sanyo. We will present the salient features, functions and warranty coverage available for this massage chair. Let us take an in depth look at the Sanyo SR1000K massage chair recliner.

What about the warranty coverage provided by Sanyo for the SR-1000K? The SR 1000K comes with three year coverage for the roller mechanism. This is the mechanical system that performs the massage functions for the back, neck and shoulders. Sanyo will also cover the parts for one year and the labor for year. One of the more generous elements of the warranty is providing in home repair for the first year of ownership.

The SR 1000K has some very unique and interesting features. We will start with the massage therapy features. This massage recliner comes with 2 automatic programs which include relax and recovery. You first select the auto button and then the massage therapy program. You can then select the area to massage. Your choices are neck/shoulder, upper body, or waist.

An intriguing and innovative feature is called the Stiffness Detector. This system using readings of your pulse rate and perspiration levels and correlates those to areas of the body having more tension. The massage chair then focuses the massage treatment to those areas detected. This is a fascinating technology integrated into the SR 1000 massage chair.

Would you enjoy a good leg stretch now and then? In addition to the manual massage techniques, Sanyo has built two different stretches into the chair. You can select the manual massage technique and then select stretch 1 or stretch 2 and the chair will seamlessly integrate the stretching into the massage program.

One of the very unique functions of the massage chair is the leg rest massage mechanism. The leg rest can target the calves and also the feet. It has a special flip down portion that is used to massage the feet. It can be flipped up and hidden from view when not in use. You do have to position your feet to flip the portion down. The massage is pretty invigorating and can be relieving for the feet and calves.

There is a remote that runs all the functions of the SR1000. The design is fairly simple and intuitive for first time users. The buttons are a good size and easy for the average user to push. There are little lights that are used to show the level of intensity of the massage and also the roller width.

The SR-1000 massage chair has some very good features for an entry level massage chair. It contains some of the electronics from Sanyo’s high end chairs like the stiffness detector and the physical shape sensor. The warranty for this recliner is also good for this level of chair. The design is a little funky and unfortunately Sanyo located a power box on the side of the chair which takes away from its attractiveness. We also wished they had more than 2 automatic massage programs in the recliner. But, if you are looking for a solid massage chair with some fairly contemporary styling, the SR-1000K is a nice massage chair.
