How To Know If Someone’s Lying To You
Body language is non-verbal communication, but is used along with verbal communication. It expresses our emotions, conveys our attitudes, demonstrates our personality traits and supports out verbal communications. Everyone uses this whenever we communicate with each other.
Many non-verbal behaviors vary across cultures, such as the thumbs up to signify “way to go” or “good job”. However, the six primary emotions, happiness, surprise, sadness, fear, anger, and disgust are common amongst all cultures. These six are instinctual and are not body language we are taught, but come from within us naturally. When we talk about body expression coming from within us we mean it comes from the subconscious level. And because it comes from the subconscious it tells a great deal about the person we. Let’s look to fear for an example.
Fear is a natural human emotion and serves a purpose related to our safety and security. But let us imagine a person who has witnessed a serious auto mobile accident, but rather than running to the aid of the injured; they run franticly in the opposite direction. This frantic running away is body expression that certainly infers some kind of fear. Specifically what that fears might be we cannot know without talking to the person. But it is obvious that the fear has nothing to do with immediate safety. Through this example you should be able to see how we can read another’s personality through the lens of his body language.
Here’s an experiment you can try at home to see just how much information people give about themselves through body communication. While someone is talking to you observe the body language they use as they talk. After a few moments of observation, close your eyes while continually listening to the other person. You won’t be able to see their hand gestures, facial expressions, or other bodily movements. Notice how much information is not available to you because your eyes are closed. It is very difficult to read and understand someone without seeing the body expression that accompanies their verbal communication.
You will find that a specific way to learn how to a person’s body language will be to observe them and get to know how they ‘talk’. You will need to that all individuals have six common types of instinctual body language, yet will vary in degree of expression. Non-verbal communication will also be common among certain cultures, societies and families. Because of this, two different people could have a similar behavior which will be expressed through similar types of body behavior. If you are conscious of your own body language, then you undoubtedly find it easier to read other people’s who are similar to yours.
As you learn your own body language try to relate those behaviors to your subconscious thinking. Try to regulate or over analyze your subconscious thought though. The only goal here is to match those thoughts with the body language you use to express those thoughts. This not about judging yourself, but it’s about learning to read your body language so you can read the body language of others. You can use this information to improve your understanding of the many different interactions you will become involved with.
Once you recognize some of your own body language movements and what they mean, you will be able to begin to read other people with more accuracy. When you are having a conversation with someone, you will be able to identify different things such as mixed messages. These mixed messages will be identified when an individual says one thing, yet their body communications something else.
You will find that a good example of this is when someone lies to you. They may tell you, “I didn’t do it!”, but the tone of voice, then they look away, and having a slight nervousness indicates that there is something not quite right about what they are telling you. The specific conflict here is between verbal and body language, and could signal deception. When you received mixed messages they are almost certainly related to insincerity and point to the individual having something to hide.

Back in the old days, hopeful writers daydreamed about publishing their own book, becoming a bestselling author, and getting a real big book advance when it came time for their next best seller. But that’s the old publishing model.
Now you can build your own publishing empire since the birth of digital printing and self-publishing businesses. In fact that has changed the whole playing field. Now you don’t need the “big boys” to establish yourself as a credible expert or profitable author. Even non-writers are getting in on the action!
If you know how to write simple articles that are filled with information that potential prospects in your market would love to read, then you have the serious potential to build a real information-based publishing empire. One that brings your profits and I’m going to show you step by step how it’s done.
I’ve created this basic article information publishing outline based on cost to your prospects. For example, the first product that you publish can be offered free to the client to introduce them to your information. Later you can offer this same client more products — and as they follow this infoproduct outline, the cost of each product increases and your profits grow. Best of all — all of these items can be created with articles that you have sitting on your computer’s hard drive!
Product 1 – Write an ezine or newsletter.
This is a complimentary weekly or monthly information newsletter that delivers quick tips and information on your topic. It’s important to do a good job with this because people will probably make a decision on whether or not to buy from you based on the quality of the information that you provide.
Product 2 – Write a traditional print book
It may surprise you that a print book lies this early in the publishing outline, but the truth is that most people aren’t making fortunes writing books. Sure — maybe the Twilight and Harry Potter authors are, but they are exceptions. Traditional books should be used more as marketing tools, especially for folks like us who are in the information business. Think of it as a high-class calling card which adds more credibility to you and your business.
Product 3 – Write an ebook or ecourse
Writing an ebook or course should come next in your information publishing outline, because you can always charge more for niche-specific information then traditional books. Think $15 bucks tops for a NYT bestseller and then $67 bucks for an infoproduct. We’ve all paid more for information online then we have for books on Amazon – haven’t we?
Product 4 – Home Study System
Take some of your articles, ebook content, audios and/or videos and compile them together in an easy-to-understand system. If your readers have bought your last two products, they are probably very interested in learning more from you and working with you. Great thing – is that you build this entire program using content that you may already have plus a few things you may want to add or that others in your field have contributed.
Product 5 – Membership Program
All membership sites or programs are based around specialized information. In most programs you are giving valuable content plus providing a bit of hand-holding through learning the information. This is a great way to build a closer knit community of people who want to learn from you and want to connect with each other (depending on the type of membership program you provide). I do this in my article marketing training program Articology.
Product 6 – Weekend Workshop
Live events rock! Whether you have 5 people or 500. It’s a great way to truly connect with your clients/members, and you can create the entire program around content that you already have written. Just flesh it out and add a few powerpoint presentations and you have the makings of a great money-making weekend.
*Optional Service – Coaching
In traditional coaching, there becomes a relationship with client which is based around what kind of business or life that client wants to create. But some coaches also create a curriculum based type of coaching program. Where the clients are going to learn some aspect of their business (or all aspects of their business) through the use of content coupled with one-on-one coaching. What this essentially means is that you will coach the client through a curriculum or series of lessons that you create.
You also have the additional option of selling a hard copy of that curriculum once you no longer private coaching around that particular focus of your business.
Finally while you may not be able to create and deliver all of these product ideas in 90 days (probably depending on how much content you already have written), you can absolutely design your publishing outline based on how many articles you can commit to writing in the next few months.
**Remember that all of these products can be created from articles that you have already written and even published – cool huh!

Why Should You Learn Chinese?
If you are up on the world economy, then you will know that China is the fastest growing economy in the world. In fact, the Chinese language is becoming so commonly used in business, the demand for resources teaching the Chinese language has more than tripled in the last half decade.
It is increasingly common for primary and secondary schools to offer Chinese classes and in the next few decades, many believe that the popularity of these courses will exceed that of Spanish classes. China is the world’s most widely spoken language and is spoken by 1.3 billion people, with one in four people in Asia being Chinese speakers.
Why learn Chinese? Because today’s world almost insists on it. With our increasing love for the Chinese culture, like the martial arts, or media (Who can forget Jacki Chan), or even Chinese food… we are quickly merging cultures together today then we ever did in past.
Great inspirations have come out of the eastern ways of life, and in a hungry way to consume them, and learn all about them, the need to learn Chinese has surfaced. The Chinese culture itself, represents a solidarity in balance, peacefulness, and serenity.
In the western world, the fast paced, time pressed crunches have taken their toll, and now we actively seek solace from other cultures, who we think, hold the key. It is through understanding, learning and appreciation of other cultures in which we often find what we seek.
When you learn Chinese, you’ll benefit from a more profound understanding of Chinese culture including art and literature. This is a journey of personal enrichment which gives the student access to this cultural heritage and broadens their view of the world. As world cultures go, there is no disputing the influential place Chinese culture holds.
Why learn Chinese? Because you truly want to. You have the focus and goal to integrate the cultural know how for goals of your own. Perhaps for an upcoming trip to China, or a hobby, or maybe just for simple understanding of a new friend, whatever the reason behind the spark, know it will be more than beneficial for you to acquire this knowledge and skill.
And exhilarating to learn. There is a sense of accomplishment behind learning Chinese, even if it’s not for a job in china, or you cannot take a vacation there… having the richness of absorbing another’s culture into your world view is a step to a better and higher understanding of life itself.
Learn Chinese to have an experience culturally. Learn Chinese for application in your job. Learn Chinese for knowledge, for wisdom and balance in your life. Learn Chinese to be ahead of everyone else in business and careers.
Learn Chinese to step into the future now. Learn Chinese for your upcoming vacation to china. But mostly, learn Chinese for yourself. Because it is something you always wanted to do. The impact of eastern culture is growing everyday, and will continue as our ways and cultures merge.
