Truly Exotic Persian Cats


The sweet looking exotic Persian cat is a identified with its pansy face and shiny furry coat. But the short legs and toned muscular body are covered inside the fluff making them small and cute.

The Persian cat is available in a wide variety of coat colors with differing characteristics as well. They have been categorized into different groups with some having more value in the eyes of cat lovers than others.

Following below is a list of some of the exotic Persian cats:

The majestic white Persian cat is the most popular of this magnificent animal. The adorable pink nose and paw pads in leather make it elegant and cute at the same time.

Coupled with its deep blue or copper colored set of eyes the white Persian tops the solid color division list as the most exotic Persian cat.

Another classy cat in the solid color Persian cat range is the warm chocolate brown version. The soft chin and lips of the cat are the same but the paw and nose leather has a very beautiful contrasting red color.

Silver Persian Cats

The most beautiful silver colored version is the Chinchilla silver Persian cat. The pure white undercoat is beautifully offset by the black paint on the back, head, tail and flanks.

To further add to the charm of the Chinchilla silver, it has pure white ear tufts, chest, stomach and chin while the rims of its nose, lips and eyes are lined with black. The color combination of the hair makes it glow like silver.

Smoke Persian Cats

The shell cameo or the red Chinchilla is another beautiful version of shaded and smoky Persian cats. The white undercoat is finished with beautiful red on the back, head, flanks and tail.

The cute face and small legs have slightly red tipped hair which makes the Persian cat stand out among the crowd.

Tortoise Shell Persian Cats

Another exotic variety of the Persian is the tortoiseshell. This one has its white undercoat topped with an exterior coat tipped in shades of black and red.

The unique color combination has contributed to the popularity of the tortoiseshell Persian cat.

Tabby Division Colors

This Persian cat has a pattern of bracelets rising up from its short legs all the way across the body coupled narrow pencil strokes and dense markings.

The forehead is marked with an M like shape and two long lines run all the way down from its eyes across the spine making it one of the most coveted exotic Persian cats.
