Wheatgrass is renowned for its extremely high concentration of chlorophyll, but it is also high in cellulose, which renders it indigestible to humans. When however, wheatgrass is processed into powder, tablets or juice it is digestible which means we can utilise the numerous benefits wheatgrass has to offer our health.

The best health benefits wheatgrass has to offer is that it assists in the removal of toxins from the body. It also helps to eliminate problems with acne and scarring related to acne problems when applied topically. The liver and kidneys also benefit from wheatgrass as it helps to restore damaged tissues.

With all the vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and amino acids found in wheatgrass, it is no wonder the health benefits are so numerous.

Amino acids are absolutely essential in the rebuilding of tissue and blood cells and wheatgrass contains 20 amino acids that are not found in other foods and a reported 92 out of 102 possible minerals, vitamins and nutrients found in soil as well as several hundred different enzymes.

Wheatgrass helps to build red blood cells, purify the blood, and detoxify the body due to its high concentration of chlorophyll, which is beneficial for the body’s blood, organs, and overall immunity to disease. Wheatgrass can help the body reach and maintain optimal health due to its multitude of essential minerals, vitamins and enzymes.

One of the main reasons that wheatgrass powder has become so popular is because it contains most of the vitamins and minerals that the human body needs to maintain a healthy body. This is a great way to get everything that your body needs without have to take more than one supplement.
